Fondant Birthday Cake for a Physicians Assistant
This was a fun cake to make. I used Buddy Valastro's chocolate cake recipe as well as the chocolate frosting recipe from his Cake Boss recipe book. It was good to try something different. His outstanding cakes have inspired me to make fun looking cakes. Visiting his bakery in Hoboken, NY was one of my favorite memories! I was hoping to see him, but he wasn't there and I got a picture with his sweet sister instead.

Cars Themed Birthday cake with Frank Chasing!
My son is obsessed with the Disney Cars movie! He is scared of Frank (the tractor) but wanted Frank to be the focal point on his birthday cake...in full speed chasing Mater and Lightning! I bought a Lightning Race Car Track and used the cars and parts to decorate his cake. A fun way to get new toys!!

Tree house Cake
I made this tree house cake for my son's birthday. He enjoys climbing trees and making forts up high at his grandmas house. She is awesome and lets the grand kids nail boards into her pine trees. They have endless fun building and using their creativity.
